"The Clouded Leopard" By Diann Fisher (Neofelis nebulosa; Neofelis diardi) The Clouded Leopard is one of the most beautiful of the cats with their striking markings and their graceful, sleekness. Named for the cloud like pattern on their gorgeous coat, it makes them targets for poachers This is probably my favorite of all of the big cats. Simply stunning. They are found in the Borneo subtropical moist forest region. However, they have been found in regions from Tropical Evergreen Forests, to dry tropical forests, to mangrove swamps all the way to the high altitudes of the Himalayas.
