Description
"Fallen For Freedom" By Diann Fisher. Our freedoms are not free. These dog tags are simply a very small number in the scope of all things and yet, there numbers are great. The impact of this abstract photo is real, it's palpable, it's heart-wrenching and thought provoking. Thank you to all who serve to provide us our freedoms and for those men and women who gave their lives so that we can have that very freedom. God Bless You All. Please pray for those who put their lives on the line for you daily.
This photo was taken at the Old North Church Memorial Gardens- Boston, MA
The impact of this memorial is quite moving. Draped along chains and posts are unmarked dog tags, each representative of a fallen American who is a victim of war in Afghanistan Iraq/Isis. MAY THEY REST IN PEACE.

Moving

You have to be there, physically, to see just how many there are. It was definitely moving. This is just a small snapshot of them. :(

Diamante Lavendar, Thank you! (I cannot currently "reply" on FAA. It keeps going to an obscure page.

So sad. Congratulations on your feature in the 500 group! LF
Diann Fisher replied:
Thank you Kay. It makes a great awareness statement, don't you think? And this is only a very small section of the entire display which was extremely powerful emotionally.

This is so sad. I just hate this war we seem we'll never get out of. Nice memorial, Diann. l/f
